Calling all fans of Hamilton and Moana! Lin-Manuel Miranda pleased our ears on may 21st by dropping an early demo of his oscar-nominated track “How Far I’ll Go” from Moana, featuring the one and only Phillipa Soo. According to Miranda, the track was recorded in a dressing room at The Public Theatre back in 2015, when Soo and Miranda were rehearsing for the Off-Broadway debut of Hamilton. SMASH could be heading to Broadway : A musical is in development

Words by Léna Fontaine A musical adaptation of the NBC Series “SMASH” is said to be in the works with Steven Spielberg, Robert Greenblatt and Neil Meron as lead producers. The news was announced shortly after the Bombshell In Concert benefit stream featuring the two show’s stars Katharine McPhee and Megan Hilty. The online concert featured songs from the fictional musical which played on Broadway for one night only in 2015. Broadway’s Frozen to remain closed after the Pandemic

Words by Léna Fontaine The Broadway production of Disney’s Frozen will not reopen at the St James Theatre after the pandemic. Which means the show have played its final performance on March 11, after 26 previews and 825 performances.
