On December 11, The Prom dropped on Netflix: the story of Emma Nolan, a lesbian in Indiana who wants to bring her girlfriend to her high school prom. Elaine Paige returns to The London Palladium pantomime this Christmas

Elaine Paige will reprise her role of the Queen Rat for the upcoming and socially distanced pantomine at the London Palladium. The news was confirmed by Elaine Paige herself on her twitter. She will join Julian Clary, Paul Zerdin, Nigel Havers, Gary Wilmot, Ashley Banjo and Diversity and Charlie Stemp. Also joining the cast are Beverley Knight and Jack Yarrow who will star in the Birminghan Hippodrome pantomine. Although it’s definitely been a strange and rough year for the industry due to the coronavirus outbreal, the show must go on! Back in August, The Broadway League and American Theatre Wing announced that the annual Tony Awards ceremony would still take place virtually this fall. Grease Spinoff series “Rise Of The Pink Ladies” moves from HBO Max to Paramount Plus

Tell us more, tell us more! Based on the 1978 hit-movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, the new spinoff series “Grease : The Rise of the Pink Ladies” is now heading to Paramount Plus after HBO Max decided to not go ahead with the project.  “Rise Of The Pink Ladies”, an hour-long musical comedy, will tell the story of Rizzo, Jan, Marty and Frenchy and how thet came together to form the Pink Ladies before heading to Rydell High for their senior year. Original cast of “Hamilton” to reunite for Joe Biden fundraiser

They’re looking for a mind that vote! This friday, the original cast of Broadway’s Hamilton will reunite to perform as part of a virtual fundraiser for presidential candidate, Joe Biden.  The reunion will feature original cast members including Leslie Odom Jr, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Phillipa Soo, Daveed Diggs, Christopher Jackson, Okieriete Onadowan, Javier Munoz and, of course, Lin-Manuel Miranda.
