Joe Sugg to join the cast of Waitress in the West End

There’s a new face in the dinner! Youtube star, filmmaker, vlogger and Strictly Come Dancing finalist Joe Sugg will make his stage debut in the UK production of Waitress from September 9th. He will join the London cast as Ogie, taking over from The Inbetweener’s actor Blake Richardson who will take his final bow on september 7th.

About the opportunity to jump on stage, Joe said,

“I’m so excited I’ve been given the opportunity to play Ogie in Waitress. I’m excited to be a part of the cast and to have now landed a role in the West End really has topped off an incredible year for me. I hope I do everyone proud. I got to see the show a couple of months back and it’s absolutely fantastic.” 

As Ogie, Joe Sugg will stars alongside Lucie Jones as Jenna, Laura Baldwin as Dawn, Marisha Wallace as Becky, Peter Hannah as Earl, David Hunter as Dr. Pomatter and Andrew Boyer as Old Joe.

By popular demand, the show recently extended its run and is now booking through Christmas and New Year to January 4th, 2020.
