In February 2022, The Kings Head Theatre will present ‘Barstools to Broadway’, a celebration to mark the successes of the world-renowned pub theatre’s first 50 years, and it looks forward to the next 50 years in a new purpose built 220 seat Islington theatre due to open in late 2022.  Over the course of a week from 14 – 19 February, KTH50 Barstools to Broadway will see readings of five plays that started their lives in the Upper Street theatre, many for the first time since their original productions, with creative teams with links to the playwrights and original shows. Patrick Duffy, Linda Purl and Gray O’Brien to star in Catch Me If You Can by Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert

Patrick Duffy, Linda Purl and Gray O’Brien will join the Catch Me If You Can Tour accross UK in 2022. Catch Me If You Can, written by Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert, and directed by Bob Tomson, will embark on its nationwide tour, opening at the Theatre Royal, Windsor on 8 February 2022. Adapted from Robert Thomas’s French play Trap for a Lonely Man, this highly entertaining mystery has inspired three successful screenplays. The cast also includes Ben Nealon, who played Captain Jeremy Forsythe in ITV’s award-winning series Soldier Soldier. New photographs released for THE RYTHMICS at the Southwark Playhouse

Following the opening of their production on December 2nd, new photographs have been released for The Rythmics, now playing at the Southwark Playhouse through January 8th. The cast includes Noel Sullivan who will star as ‘Grey’ alongside Zweyla Mitchell Dos Santos making her professional debut playing ‘Silva’. Beauty and The Beast to suspend all performances until Saturday 18 December at The Belgrade Theatre

Despite safety mesures being in place and understudy actors, The Belgrade Theatre has announced that some of their Panto Company have recently tested positive for Covid. This means all live performances have to be suspended, including live performances of Beauty and the Beast until Saturday 18 December at the earliest. John Dagleish to star in SPIKE at the Watermill Theatre

Full casting has been announced for SPIKE, a new comedy by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman. The show will premiere at The Watermill from Thursday 27 January – Saturday 5 March. Full touring casting has been announced for “The Da Vinci Code”.
