Nick Robinson, known for his star turn in the 2018 film “Love, Simon,” will be making his Broadway debut as Jem Finch on Nov. 5 in Aaron Sorkin’s Broadway adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird.
He will star alongside the previously announced four-time Academy Award nominee and two-time Golden Globe winner Ed Harris as Atticus Finch, following Jeff Daniels’ departure from the role.
Named to Forbe’s 30 under 30 in the Hollywood & Entertainment category in 2018, Robinson originally made his stage debut at the age of 12 playing Jem Finch at the Seattle Intiman Theatre, also directed by Bartlett Sher.
To Kill a Mockingbird opened Dec. 3, 2018, at the Shubert Theatre and picked up nine Tony Award nominations, with actress Celia Keenan-Bolger winning Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her performance as Scout Finch.
A national tour of the production is set to launch in August 2020.
