With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Philip LaZebnik, the initial cast announced Thursday for THE PRINCE OF THE EGYPT on the West End is in good hands.

The production will star Luke Brady and Liam Tamne as Moses and Ramses, respectively, with Christine Allado as Tzipporah and Alexia Khadime as Miriam.

The musical, based on the 1998 animated film of the same name, is an adaptation of the Book of Exodus, which follows the story of Moses becoming prince and leading the Israelites out of Egypt.

Performances will begin Feb. 5, 2020, at London’s Dominion Theatre, with an opening night slated for Feb. 25, 2020. The production will play a 32-week limited engagement.

Additional casting is forthcoming.
