Casting announced for Our Man In Havana at the Watermill

OUR MAN IN HAVANA, the musical adaptation of Graham Greene’s iconic novel, will open at Newbury’s The Watermill on Thursday 7 April – Saturday 21 May, with a press night on Monday 11 April. Nigel Lister will play ‘James Wormold’, Daniella Agredo Piper will play ‘Milly Wormold’, Paula James will play ‘Beatrice / Maria’, Alvaro Flores will play ‘Segura / Hawthorne / Marco’, Adam Keast will play ‘Hasselbacher/Chief’ and Antonio Sanchez will be the Onstage Musical Director. Joseph Alessi will play ‘Cobbler’, Gemma Sutton will play ‘Ugly Girl’, Olivier Award winner George Maguire as ‘Wicker Husband’, Angela Caesar as ‘Cobbler’s Wife’, Jonathan Charles as ‘Innkeep’, Claire-Marie Hall as ‘Innkeep’s Wife’, Jack Quarton as ‘Tailor’ and Davina Moon as ‘Tailor’s Wife’,  Julian Forsyth as ‘Old Basket Maker’ with Jon Whitten as on-stage band playing the Hammered Dulcimer, Rachel Barnes also as on-stage band, and Pat Moran as onstage Musical Director. SPIKE by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman to open the 2022 spring season at the Watermill Theatre

The new season will open with the world premiere of SPIKE, a new comedy based on the life of Spike Milligan by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman. It will be followed by the return of folk-inspired mythic musical THE WICKER HUSBAND, and the world-premiere musical adaptation of Graham Greene’s bestselling novel OUR MAN IN HAVANA. The season takes place inside The Watermill’s auditorium, with both full capacity and socially distanced performances available.
