New cast announced for Waitress on Broadway and on the West End

Words by Rebecca. Waitress on Broadway just announced that fan favorite Katherine McPhee will be rejoining the cast as the show’s closing Jenna. McPhee previously played Jenna at the Brooks Atkinson as a limited run last year, and originated the role on the West End earlier this year. McPhee will begin her run on November 25, and close out the show with original cast members Drew Gehling (Dr. Pomatter) and Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie) on January 5, 2020. Sara Bareilles to release “What’s Not Inside”, exclusive tracks from Waitress

Words by Léna Fontaine Sara Bareilles will release a handful unreleased tracks that didn’t get to be featured on Waitress. Titled “What’s Not Inside, the Lost Song From Waitress”, the EP will feature outtakes and demos for songs such as “Door Number Three”, “Happy Enough” and “Falling In Love Pie”. The EP is set to be released digitally on August 16. In anticipation of this release, the show already graced us with an exclusive music video of the never-before heard song “Without A Believer” featuring Tony-nominee Jeremy Jordan.
