Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Celebrates Hogwarts House Pride

The critically acclamed London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate each Hogwarts houses next year. The show will dedicate four special performances to Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. The first 50 audience members who will arrive early to each Wednesday’s performances will receive early access to the theatre, theatre bars and gift shop. They will also get the opportunity to participate in Harry Potter trivia featuring the cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. All audience members will receive a house-themed souvenir pin and have the opportunity to enter the house pride costume contest. Petula Clark celebrates birthday at ‘Mary Poppins’

Petula Clark, who currently plays Bird Woman in the West End production of Mary Poppins, was surprised by the cast at the curtain call on November 15t, 2021 for her birthday.  She was acclaimed by producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh who presented her with a birthday cake brought on to the stage to the tune of Don’t Sleep in the Subway, one of her many iconic numbers. The Company, along with the audience, then sang a rousing Happy Birthday. As an extra special treat, the cast sang Downtown, another one of Petula’s all-time hits, a final round of Happy Birthday, and plenty of streamers rounded off the celebrations! The event was streamed live on TikTok and hosted by Tia Kofi from RuPaul’s Drag Race and a superfan of the show.
