Broadway’s Frozen to remain closed after the Pandemic

Which means the show have played its final performance on March 11, after 26 previews and 825 performances. Words by Moira Armstrong Beetlejuice, the Broadway adaptation of the 1988 cult classic, has been on an upward trajectory since its opening this past October. The show grossed $1.6 million over Thanksgiving week, smashing Winter Garden records, and has exploded in popularity, in large part due to exposure on social media. Waitress “opened up” on Broadway in April 2016, which will make it the longest running show at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre when it closes.
