Full casting announced for West End transfer of Kathy and Stella Solve A Murder!

My Neighbour Totoro to transfer to the West End

Executive Producer Joe Hisaishi and the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), in collaboration  with Nippon TV and Improbable, today announce a 34-week run for Studio Ghibli’s record-breaking My Neighbour Totoro at the Gillian Lynne Theatre in London’s West End. The production will run from Saturday 08 March – Sunday 02 November 2025, with an opening night on Thursday 20 March. Priority booking opens on Monday 29 April, with public booking from  Friday 03 May.   Adapted by Tom Morton-Smith (Oppenheimer) from Hayao Miyazaki’s celebrated 1988 animated  feature film, the production is directed by Improbable Co-Founder, Phelim McDermott. Stacey Dooley and James Buckley to star in 2:22 as the show returns to the West End in may 2024

Running for a strictly limited 10-week season at the Gielgud Theatre, where the second cast of the show performed in 2020/21, the season also runs concurrently with the hugely successful and record-breaking UK tour which concludes in Salford in June, and a Dublin season at 3Olympia Theatre, which will perform from 20 June –  22 August.
