New Musical EUROVISION SONG CONTEST: THE STORY OF FIRE SAGA is in development

Producer Lia Vollack announced the development of a new musical based on the Netflix motion picture, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. The production will feature book by Will Ferrell, Harper Steele and Anthony King, music by Savan Kotecha, and will be directed by Alex Timbers. Full casting announced for Starter For Ten Musical at the Bristol Old Vic

Alongside the previously announced actress, presenter, comedian and writer Mel Giedroyc (The Crown Jewels, Garrick Theatre) who will reprise the role of Brian’s mum, Irene Jackson, and Bamber Gascoigne’s irresistible sidekick Julia Bland, Adam Bregman (Chariots of Fire, Sheffield Crucible) returns as Brian, Miracle Chance (Heathers, The Other Palace) reprises the role of Lucy, and Will Jennings (Les Misérables, Sondheim Theatre) returns as Patrick. More than £10 000 was raised at the fifth annual West End Flea Market held at St Paul’s church in Coven Garden. Co-Chairman Sir Stephan Wallet-Cohen said : “We are delighted that the West End Flea Market is going from strength to strength and the wonderful amount raised, which is significantly higher than previous years.
