Get Up, Stand Up! tells the true story of Bob Marley – from a life of poverty to visionary international superstar. Part-warrior, part-rock star, Bob Marley changed the world with his inspirational message, revolutionary spirit and musical vision. A dynamic company of actors combine with the very best reggae musicians to bring this absorbing tale of passion, heroism and enduring hope from Trenchtown to the West End. ‘It’s not all that glitters is gold, half the story has never been told’

Island Records recently released the Original Cast Recording, featuring original cast members including Arinzé Kene and Gabrielle Brooks, alongside ‘The Stand Up Crew’, the fantastic group of musicians who propelled the show. The 20-track album was produced and mixed by Island stalwart Paul ‘Groucho’ Smykle, with arrangements by Phil Bateman, and features many of Marley’s most popular, powerful, enduring and inspiring songs of freedom.

Get Up, Stand Up! plays its final performance in the West End on Sunday 8th January 2023 before embarking on a UK tour, with further details to be announced.
