Cabaret, starring Eddie Redmayne, leads Olivier Awards nominees

Nominations are out for the 2022 Olivier Awards! The ceremony will be held on April 10 at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

Cabaret earned 11 nominations, with star Eddie Redmayne getting a nod for his performance in the production. The show is also nominated for Best Musical Revival, its costume and scenic design, sound design, choreography (by Julia Cheng) and lightning. The cast also earned some nomination. Liza Sadovy and Elliot Levey both got nominated in the supporting categories with Jessie Buckley in the leading category.

Also nominated for Best Musical are Broadway’s transfers Frozen and Moulin Rouge! along with West End favorites Back to the FutureThe Drifters Girl, and Get Up, Stand Up! The Bob Marley Musical.
