Tickets on sale for Disney’s Winnie The Pooh in Chicago

After an dimpresive and acclaimed run in New York City, Rockefeller’s production of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation will run for four more weeks before closing on January 30th. The show will then head for Chicago for a limited 13-week run from March 15, 2022 to June 12, 2022.

Pooh, Christopher Robin, Tigger, Eeyore, Rabbit, Howl, Piglet and Kanga and Roo will arrive in Chicago and play at the Mercury Theatre.  Tickets are now on sale for the general public. For more information about Winnie the Pooh, visit winniethepoohshow.com.

The current cast includes Jake Bazel as Pooh, Chris Palmieri as Tigger, Emmanuel Elpenord as Eeyore, Howl and Rabbit, Kirsty Moon as Piglet. Sebastiano Ricco and Kristina Dizon completes the cast as the amazing swings.

Winnie The Pooh tells the story of Pooh and his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood as they navigates through seasons and challenges. This fresh new stage adaptation is told with impressive life-size puppets. Accompanying the magical, modern narrative is an original score from Nate Edmondson, which features some of the songs written for the animated feature from The Sherman Brothers’, including Winnie the Pooh, The Blustery Day, The Wonderful Thing About Tiggers and Whoop-De-Dooper Bounce and A.A. Milne’s The More It Snows (featuring music by Carly Simon) and Sing Ho, a new arrangement.
