Following the footsteps of Emma Watson as Belle and Lily James as Cinderella, Rachel Zegler is set to play Disney’s princess Snow White in the upcoming live-action movie of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. 

The movie, produced by Marc Platt and directed by Marc Webb will bring to the big screen Disney’s first animated feature and will feature new songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The duo previously brought home a Tony and an Oscar for their work on Dear Evan Hansen and The Greatest Showman.

This isn’t Zegler’s first time bringing a huge story back to life in the big screen. The young rising star will soon be seen as Maria in Steven Spielberg’s film adaptation of West Side Story which is set to be released on Decembre 10, later this year. She will star alongside Ansel Elgort who will play Tony, Ariana DeBose, Mike Faist, Paloma Garcia-Lee and Rita Moreno.
