Frozen confirms its West End reopening plans

For the first time in what feels like forever, Frozen is finally coming back!

The show will now  begins its previews on 27 August 2021, with a press night on 8 September at fully and newly refurbished Theatre Royal Dury Lane.

The previously announced cast is led by Samantha Barks who will play Elsa and Stephanie McKeon who will portray Anna. The rest of the cast in composed of Obioma Ugoala as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan as Olaf, Oliver Ormson as the terrible Hans and Richard Frame as Weselton.

Also joining the cast are Mikayla Jade and Ashley Birchall, Jeremy Batt, Cameron Burt, Lauren Chia, Laura Emmitt, Emily-Mae, Danielle Fiamanya, Hannah Fairclough, Chris Fung, Matt Gillett, Joe Griffiths-Brown, Emily Lane, Justin-Lee Jones, Jason Leigh Winter, Jacob Maynard, Leisha Mollyneaux, Gabriel Mokake, Sarah O’Connor, Jemma Revell, Jacqui Sanchez, Jak Skelly, Jake Small, Isabel Snaas, Kerry Spark, Joshua St. Clair, Monica Swayne, and Anna Woodside.

The show is directed by Michael Grandage. Choreography is by Rob Ashford, set and costume design by Christopher Oram, lighting design by Neil Austin, sound design by Peter Hylenski, video design by Finn Ross, puppet design by Michael Curry and musical supervision and arrangements by Stephen Oremus.

Frozen previously opened on Broadway in March 2018 with Caissie Levy and Patti Murin starring as Elsa and Anna. It was then nominated for a Tony Award for Best Musical.
