On August 14th, the Turbine Theatre announced a festival of live entertainment. The festival will take place over several weeks (starting on the 26th of August), and is to be performed next to the Battersea power station in London.
One of the many performances is a concert staging of the musical Hair, with an all-star cast, including Layton Williams as Hud, Grace Mouat as Crissy and Jodie Steele as Sheila. Arlene Phillips will direct the concert, set to play from the 4th of September until the 6th of September.
Turbine Theatre also announced that the “Roles We’ll Never Play” series is back, with a performance on the 13th of September! The concert shall be produced by Tom Duern, with a cast will to be announced soon.
With a smashing line-up and a magical backdrop of the Thames, this festival looks like it will be a success! To book tickets for any of the events, or to find out more, go to https://www.theturbinetheatre.com/whats-on.
