Chicago’s Victory Gardens Theatre will make available its 2017 production of Fun Home for two weeks only. It will be presented online from 12 to 24 may for the cost of 20$ (approx. £16,10) per tickets.
The 2017 production featured Danni Smith as Alison, Hananh Starr as Medium Alison and Stella ROse Hoyt and SAge Elliott HArper as Small Alison. The cast also included Rob Lindley and McKinley Carter as Bruce, McKinley Carter as Helen Bechdel, Danielle Davis as Joan, Joe Lino as Roy, Preetish Chakraborty as John Bechdel, and Leo Gonzalez as Christian Bechdel.
Based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, the musical adaptation was directed by Gary Griffin with music by Jeanine Tesori and a book and lyric by Lisa Kron. The musical won five Tony Awards in 2015 including one for Best Musical and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album.
