‘You will be found!’ After months of waiting, the casting of the UK production of the Broadway smash hit ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ has finally be revealed last night.

We’re delighted to introduce you to Sam Tutty, a recent graduate from Italia Conti Academy, who will step into the shoes of Evan Hansen. By his sides, Lucy Anderson will play the role of the Zoe Murphy and Doug Colling, will be Connor Murphy. They are all recent graduates from Mountview and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) respectively, bringing new talents upon the West End stage.

The incredible Rebecca McKinnis will also join the cast as Heidi Hansen, Even’s mother, and Lauren Ward and Rupert Young will play Cynthia and Larry Murphy, parents to Zoe and Connor. Finally, the roles of Jared and Alana will be respectively played by Jack Loxton and Nicole Raquel Dennis!

Also in the company, Marcus Harman will be the alternate Evan, as well as cover for both Connor and Jared. David Breeds will cover the roles of Evan, Connor and Jared, Alex Thomas-Smith will cover Evan and Jared. Tricia Adele-Turner and Hannah Lindsey will cover Heidi and Cynthia while Natalie Kassanga and Courtney Stapleton will cover Zoe and Alana.

The West End production will begin previews on 29th October and will officially open on 19th November 2019 at the Noel Coward Theatre. Tickets are already on sales since April so hurry up to get yours!

The show is also currently opened on Broadway since 2016 and won 6 Tony Awards in 2017, including Best Musical and Best Actor for Ben Platt.
