Full cast announced for The Jungle Book at The Dukes

The Dukes in Lancaster have today announced the full cast for their annual Summer ‘Play in the Park’ at Lancaster’s Williamson Park, which this year will be The Jungle Book from Friday 22 July – Sunday 28 August. The Dukes has been entertaining generations of families with their summer promenade shows since 1987, attracting a total of more than half a million people. The promenade production, which will be performed Tuesdays-Sundays at 7:15pm, will see audiences guided through a transformed Williamson Park where audiences travel across locations within the park as they follow the story. FIRST LOOK at The Jungle Book rehearsals

THE JUNGLE BOOK, the new musical version of Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale adapted and directed by Tom Jackson Greaves, will play at The Watermill over the Christmas period from Thursday 18 November – Friday 31 December. Karishma Young will star in the show and will play the famous ‘Mowgli’. Alongside her are Peter Ashmore as ‘Shere Khan’, Alexander Bean as ‘Kaa / Councilor Wolf’, Philippa Hogg as ‘Bagheera’, Guido Garcia Lueches as ‘Tabaqui’, and Rowena Lennon as ‘Baloo’.
