But I’m A Cheerleader : The Musical extends its booking period at the Turbine Theatre

After a successful premier in February where it received rave reviews, the 1990s queer- culture classic musical is extending its run at The Turbine Theatre. Following a short closure to make some necessary changes for its future life, But I’m A Cheerleader will run until Sunday 8 May. Joining the cheer squad as the new ‘Super Cheerleaders’ will be Lauren Soley and Owen McHugh, taking on the baton as the cast swings. Addition changes to the cast include Leslie Bowan taking over the role of André and Kurt Kansley as Mike at the end of April. Further casting announced for Jerusalem at the Apollo Theatre

Further casting has been announced for Jerusalem at the Apollo Theatre. They will join the previously announced Mark Rylance and Mackenzie Crook, who will reprise their celebrated roles as Johnny “Rooster” Byron and Ginger respectively in Ian Rickson’s production of Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem. The show will open at Theatre Royal Bath from 30 March 2022 before travelling to Cambridge Arts Theatre, Malvern Theatre, Leicester Curve, Theatre Royal Brighton, Newcastle Theatre Royal, and Theatre Royal York. Mathew Horne will play Lenny, Teddy’s enigmatic brother. He will be joined on stage by comedian and musician Keith Allen who will play the brutal patriarch, Max.
