Spike to tour the UK this autumn starring John Dagleish

Olivier Award-winning actor John Dagleish (Sunny Afternoon, Farming, The Third Day) will reprise his critically acclaimed role as ‘Spike Milligan’ this autumn, as SPIKE – the comedy by Ian Hislop and Nick Newman that had its world premiere at The Watermill in January – tours the UK. Opening at the Cheltenham Everyman on 6 September, and touring to Malvern, Guildford, Oxford, Salisbury, Brighton, Aylesbury, Glasgow, Richmond, Blackpool and Cardiff, SPIKE will be directed by Watermill Artistic Director Paul Hart, with design by Katie Lias, lighting design by Rory Beaton. Melissa Johns will star in the world premiere production of her debut play SNATCHED which will run at The Lowry in Salford from 13-14 May before transferring to London’s Soho Theatre from 16-18 May, ahead of a UK tour. In 2018, disabled actor, Melissa Johns’ iCloud was hacked and explicit photos of her were released online. SNATCHED is Melissa Johns’ response to this event, a humorous and revealing show that displays no remorse in championing female sexuality, fighting body shaming and the taboo of sex and disability. First look at The Rise and Fall of Little Voice UK Tour
