Tom Holland will lead the new West End production of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. The production will be directed by Jamie Lloyd and opens at the Duke of York’s Theatre on 11 May.

Shakespeare’s immortal tale of wordsmiths, rhymers, lovers and fighters is brought to life on stage in a pulsating new vision by award-winning director Jamie Lloyd (Sunset Boulevard, The Seagull, Cyrano de Bergerac).

The play includes text editing by Nima Taleghani, set and costume design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design by Ben and Max Ringham, video design and cinematography by Nathan Amzi and Joe Ransom, composition by Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante, movement direction by Sarah Golding and Yukiko Masui (SAY), intimacy coordination by Ingrid Mackinnon, associate direction by Jonathan Glew, and associate design by Rachel Wingate
Romeo & Juliet is playing from 11 May 2024 to 3 August 2024 at the Duke of York’s Theatre London.
Tom previously made his stage debut as the title role in Billy Elliot The Musical at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London.
